Ok, first- thanks for the help with the length issue earlier on the CK 30 with loader and 2365 hoe. It DOES fit- very nicely- in my 12' dump with loader hung over front and hoe turned to side and dropped into trailer, for future reference. Anyway, I am a teacher by trade (high school in MI) and also own and run a small landscape company. I mainly use my tractor for grading new yards and moving mulch, stone, brick, etc. (NO MOWING :) I have gotten a price of $20,500 from Van Paemmel Equipment in MI for a CK 30 HST with loader and 2365 w/ 12" bucket. This is with tax and all fees. Does anyone know this company- they are two hours away from me, but the closest Kioti dealer? Also, I need to justify the hoe to my wife, as I would have only used it approx. twice for business use if I had it last year. What uses could I add to my business, and what are some hourly rates that some of you have charged, or have been charged for similar work/ equipment? Thanks a ton, I am close to pulling trigger on this deal. BTW, does Kioti financing REQUIRE a down payment? Thanks again,
Ben

Have you checked into the cost of insurance for doing backhoe work vs the amount of work you have for the hoe ??
Backhoe insurance can be quite pricey around here. But I certainly would not dig on any property but my own without it.. ....

I have had a few dealings with Van Pamel and talked w/him at auctions, and he seems to be a decent person. Between him and all the good info from Vince (on this site) I was as close as a signature on a check from buying a DK35 last spring from Vam Pamel, but a neighbor up north retired and I picked up a JD 1070 for a good price. I believe his prices beat a large Kioti dealer in Illinois too.
I cannot comment about his service because I only purchased implements from him.
If you find what works with your wife let me know because I want a backhoe as well!

If you are hauling fill dirt, gravel, or road materials such as "chirt" and you have to dig for it yourself; a backhoe can be very handy. They also come in quite handy for the removal of tree stumps and large rocks. ....
